For our Irie Vibes Fun day in November, we aim to give every child a school bag with school supplies.Wallmart has the composition books on sale now, for 0.50 $ per book!
We can not buy the books in Jamaica for that price.If you want to support and buy a book or more, please let me know, you can bring them to Jamaica or order online and get them delivered to a USA address from where they will be shipped to Jamaica.Please send me a message if you need more information.

26 more pairs of glasses will be heading to Jamaica in about 1 month! Thank you to everyone who has donated!! If you have any type of glasses you want to donate, please contact me and I’ll come and get them!! Kris Kross Jamaica Vzw and I appreciate this so much!!! We are up to 45 pairs.It's so beautiful when people help towards the mission. Eye glasses are expensive in Jamaica so this is a very good cause to help out our Elders and needy people. I believe that every school should have a farm project, no matter how small, so every child could get the opportunity to plant a seed and see the magic of a plant growing and blooming.
Let them experience the joy of reaping their own vegetables and fruits.

I hesitated for a while if I would post this picture but this is the reality we see every day,
our Elders in Jamaica with disabilities and their daily struggle.
We all face hardships and difficulties at one time or another, but for people with disabilities,
barriers can be more frequent and have greater impact on their daily life.
Give thanks some Elders have access to a wheelchair but lots of times they get isolated.
Its a rocky road, I heard of Elders having a wheelchair but can not come out because the path in the front of the house is so bad.
Some people ask money to lift them in and out their wheelchair??

the harsh reality..At Kris Kross Jamaica we keep on working to make it better for our Elders, not only by distributing foodbags but also by looking into
their daily needs and reaching out where possible.
Every mickle mek a muckle,
we gladly accept donations to be able
to do more for our people in Jamaica.

can be gone tomorrow.

I received this message this week from a man whose mother we did check regularly.
These messages are the greatest to me as
these words are a motivation to keep on pushing the works.

my beautiful sister Paulette Spencer.
It does not take a big team to accomplish these works but it takes a genuine, selfless heart willing to dedicate to make a difference in the life of others.

Most of the children in Jamaica had
online lessons the last school year.
Hopefully things turn in a positive way so
they can return to school safely!
Kris Kross Jamaica is grateful to be able to contribute to the children's safety by donating
two hand-washing stations to
Cave Valley All Age School in March Town, Hanover.
They will be delivered and installed soon.
I hope to post some pictures of smiling children washing their hands in September 
Our children are our future,

and lead them the way.

of the Jamaican Heroes on the school wall

At times, our own light goes out and is
rekindled by a spark from another person.
Kris Kross Jamaica gives thanks to unite with Hope for Hunger, Negril Ja.
Its a blessing to work together and to be able to deliver foodbags to our Elders and vulnerable people.
More blessings to Miss Candy, it would not have been possible without her.
She delivered the foodbags in Stathbogie and Little London, Westmoreland.
She is a lady from Westmoreland who dedicates her time and energy to delivering the foodbags
but also takes care of people in need, she helps them with every little thing that they can not manage theirself again. Bless up Miss Candy!
